There are three changes to the breakout program announced today (16 June 2019).
Unfortunately Christopher Willcock and Angela McCarthy have had to withdraw from the presenter program due to changes in their respective schedules.
Christopher's presentations in breakout A-4 and breakout F-8 were focused on the role of the Composer for Catholic Worship, with a hands-on focus for composers. We are fortunate to have secured Tony Alonso to replace Chris in breakout F-8. Tony will present "The Work of Our Hands: Composing for the Catholic Church." We are also most fortunate in securing Peter Wardrobe, Dorico Education Specialist at Yamaha Music Australia, who will present "Dorico for Composers," providing a composer's expose of Dorico, the new notation software that is being enthusiastically embraced by composers all around the world.
Angela's presentation in breakout E-6 is a unique review of current research work in W.A. We hope Angela will be able to present this at a future event.
The APMN Conference Brochure, including full program details, is now available here.
Early Bird discount on tickets is available until 30 June. There are a limited number of student discount tickets also available.
Once you have made your breakout choices go to the Register page, review the registration process and press the "Register Now" button.
