The Australian Pastoral Musicians Network is pleased to announce its 4th National Conference, 1-3 October, 2019 at the ACU in Melbourne.
Celebrating liturgical, catechetical and religious music for parishes, schools and beyond. For all musicians, cantors, conductors, composers,
choristers, teachers, catechists, campus ministers, clergy, liturgy teams ... and all who love sung prayer.
The conference features 3 keynote presentations, 2 plenary workshops, over 40 breakout workshops, exhibitions, showcases, conference Mass and conference dinner.
Note the dates in your diary! Registrations open 1 March, 2019.

The Australian Pastoral Musicians Network has been given permission by the Catholic Diocese of Wollongong to publish their recently updated Version 2 copyright guidance documents. The revised documents take account of the new landscape of copyright license providers in Australia (OneLicense, CCLI and APRA/AMCOS) and the broader range of licenses now available from these providers.
The guidelines can be downloaded from our Documents page.
The next Australian Academy of Liturgy (AAL) conference will be held in Fremantle 15-18 January 2019. The theme of the conference is “The Art of Liturgy”. More details will be released through the AAL webpage.

It is now only eight weeks until the RCIA NATIONAL CONFERENCE 2018 ‘IGNITE THE SPARK’ EVANGELISATION AND THE RCIA.
The conference is being held in Melbourne 11-13 October 2018, at the Catholic Leadership Centre, 576 Victoria Parade, East Melbourne.
The Christian Initiation Australia Network (CIAN) is hosting the national conference on RCIA. This will be a wonderful opportunity for you and your parish to to enliven, reignite and add a spark to evangelisation and the RCIA in your parish community and diocese. Liturgist Bruce Morrill recently posted an article in PrayTellBlog about a Mass he recently attended in Slovenia where they incorporate Australian Hillsong music as part of the hymnody within Mass and then continue singing praise and worship songs after the Mass has concluded.
Does anything like that happen anywhere in Australia?
