Happy New Year!

Convenor APMN - Monday, January 29, 2018

Welcome to 2018!

In just a few short weeks we will be celebrating Ash Wednesday!  It's hard to believe that our 2017 Conference was over 3 months ago!

We hope that those who attended have been able to apply some new insights gained, learnt a new song or simply applied a renewed enthusiasm to your ministry.

We are already working on our 2019 Conference so stay tuned for new announcements via this website.

May I take this opportunity to wish all our members and visitors a blessed Lenten journey 2018.

Keep singing!

Brochures Coming Your Way

We have been very busy this week preparing and distributing Brochures and Posters.  One should find its way to your parish across Australia within the next month or so.  If you don't see it - please do ask your parish priest or contact me directly

Before I go on...TEACHERS TAKE NOTE... You will receive 6 hours of accreditation, knowledge component, when you attend our Conference.  This is an added bonus in participating in what will be a spectacular event for the WA Catholic Church...and beyond!

With the kind permission of Bishop Justin Bianchini, I will be visiting Geraldton, WA to attend the Geraldton Diocesan Clergy Conference Day on Tuesday 4th April.  I will have the opportunity to speak to the gathering about our Conference, and to explain why it will be so very beneficial for all who attend.  What a great honour!  I will also be handing out our brochures for distribution in the diocese of Geraldton.

Similarly, with the kind permission of Bishop Christopher Saunders, we have sent off today a big bundle of brochures for distribution at the Broome Diocesan Clergy Conference next week.  I also hope to do a little video that will be played at the Conference - outlining the Conference details!  Stay tuned for this video to appear in this blog section!

Next it will be Bunbury Diocese who receive a visit, with the kind permission of Bishop Gerry Holohan.  This will happen at their Diocesan Priests Retreat at the end of June.  What a joy to re-visit my home Diocese to share my excitement about our Conference!  This will be a lot of fun!

Finally, the Perth Archdiocese, with the kind permission of Bishop Don Sproxton will be seeing a lot of me!  Being the host city, I will be visiting as many parishes as I can, personally, to promote just how awesome this Conference is going to be.  If you would like me to visit your parish, youth group, music group, parish committee/team or school to promote and explain the Conference program, please contact me directly at the above email address.  I also hope to speak at the Perth Priests Retreat Day later in the year.

So, it's going to be a busy few weeks ahead - how exciting!!

Watch this space for more updates as they happen!

Until then, stay joyful and give thanks!
